to see some whales
and what did we see?

We saw the sea.
We saw some sea lions
and even a shark.
But nary a whale,
although the seals barked.
The gulls were all friendly
they staye

But we were not fishing;
no fish guts for you.

We went whale watching
to chase our tails.
But that was okay 'cause
we had a swell day ~
it was a great day!

We set out to sea, to see a cetation
The absence of which was causing frustration
But then we saw a sea lion, who said
"What's wrong with me, a fine pinniped?"
Gigi: Your comment on my blog about the lip-liner was laugh-out-loud funny!!! Thanks! :-)

Gigi, looks like a fun day.

Oar, oar, oar!
Well, after the weight I've managed to pack on this past year, I'm surprised you didn't plaster a photo of me as the whale that was finally found. Oyyyyy!!!
But, whales be damned. It was a great day and I can't wait to go not see whales again. :-)
Jaysus, did I type "cetation"? I meant to type "cetacean". No more commenting before coffee.
You know what they say... a bad day at sea beats a good day in the office any time.
